We are Taplejung Kosheli Ghar, a small local business based in Taplejung, Koshi Province, eastern Nepal. We source and sell authentic handcrafted goods, locally grown produce, and traditional Nepali food products — directly from the farmers and artisans of Taplejung.
Our name says it all. Kosheli means a gift you bring from home. That is exactly what every product in our shop is — a piece of Taplejung, carefully chosen and delivered to your door anywhere in Nepal.
Taplejung sits in the shadow of Kanchenjunga, one of the world’s highest peaks. The district is known for its pristine forests, terraced farms, and a community of skilled craftspeople who have been growing, making, and preserving things the traditional way for generations.
But too often, the finest products from places like Taplejung never reach the people who would truly appreciate them. They stay hidden — sold only locally, known only nearby.
Our goal is simple: to make it easy for anyone in Nepal to access genuine Taplejung products — handwoven textiles, high-altitude tea, raw mountain honey, traditional churpi, local spices, and much more — without compromise on quality or authenticity.
Pure and authentic products.
Rooted in local culture
Fresh and premium products
We offer three main categories of products from Taplejung:

Hand-woven dhaka fabric, bamboo crafts, woven baskets, and decorative items made by skilled local artisans.

High-altitude Taplejung tea, raw wild honey, dried herbs, mountain spices, and other naturally grown products from the farms of Koshi Province.

Churpi (hard cheese), gundruk, sel roti mixes, dried vegetables, and other traditional Nepali food products made using time-tested methods.
Every item at Kosheli Ghar carries a story — of hands that made it, land that nurtured it, and traditions that continue through it.
